It is said that young learners can be encouraged to learn while using computers, including laptops and mobile phones. I firmly believe that they can enjoy learning more from this new way of learning.

Using computers to learn during lessons is undoubtedly more attractive to pupils. Firstly, students might feel more interested when they learn by playing online games with others, making them feel like learning can be fun. For example, teachers can use online resources, such as Kahoot, an online quiz game, to interact with their students. Secondly, students might feel engaged if they can use computers during the lessons. They can find the information they need through the Internet immediately. They can, hence, discuss what they find with their classmates and teachers.

How to use computers is a practical skill connected to students’ lives and their future. People use computers and mobile phones for their work nowadays. Therefore, the students might need to learn how to make notes on a laptop or a tablet because they may use this method in a business meeting in the future. Moreover, most young learners might use computers or smartphones at home almost every day. They use this advanced technology to play games with their friends, but they might also use it to discuss homework with others or search for information online. Thus, they might find it challenging to get the resources they need from books or traditionally make notes on a pad and pencil.

In conclusion, using computers in the classroom can encourage young learners to learn more, because it is entertaining and helpful; moreover, it is definitely connected to their lives.
