雅思寫作-水災很嚴重

今天要來練習雅思寫作題目的「水災很嚴重」的這個題目，在寫作文很重要的一件事情就是：一定要打草稿，打完草稿建議大家才可以好好的排順序，讓自己不會寫一寫突然就離開題目的主軸了！

題目：

Many inhabited areas of the world have been affected by severe flooding in recent years. What are some of the causes of this phenomenon?What can be done to prevent it from happening?

大綱：

Intro –
1. 水災是真的很嚴重
2. 有很多原因，也有方法可以解決。

身體第一段
1. 雖然是天災，但是人類造成的也滿多
2. 第一個原因：都市化導致森林減少
3. 延伸：就沒有樹木抓住土壤裡的水分
4. 第二個原因：工業化
5. 解釋：排放氣體所以冰山融化，海水上漲就比較容易有水災。

身體第二段
1. 有一些方法我們可以做到
2. 政府創建自然保護區
3. 舉例：台灣的水筆仔保護區
4. 人們在山區多種樹
5. 政府制定法律，讓溫室氣體不要排放，冰川不要融化。

結論：人類造成的水災，我們可以預防。

大綱解釋：

不知道大家有沒有注意到，我的第二個身體是緊緊地扣著第一個身體的，因為我要「連貫性」，所以我第二個身體都是緊緊地在解決第一個身體所產生的原因和問題，這樣子整個文章才會是緊緊的扣在一起。

練習示範：

Flooding has indeed been a widespread concern these days, as so many countries are affected by this natural disaster. There are several reasons why severe flooding repeatedly happens, but people can take steps to address this issue.

While some flooding is considered natural, some human activities have made it more severe. Urbanisation, for example, plays a significant role in making flooding since it leads to deforestation. As a result, there are insufficient roots in soil or plants as a barrier to hold back excessive amounts of water, and flooding inevitably occurs. Furthermore, after industrialisation, people produce more emissions and greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, leading to global warming, melting the ice in Antarctica and rising sea levels. Hence, severe flooding is more likely to happen when torrential rainfall happens.

However, steps could be taken to alleviate the problem. First, the government can declare several sanctuaries around the coastline. For example, an area in northern Taiwan was declared a mangrove sanctuary with an enormous number of plants, which prevents severe flooding. Secondly, people and the government can plant more trees in the mountains so that there should be enough roots in soil to stop flooding from happening. Finally, the government can pass new laws related to carbon offset or carbon price to make emissions be produced less to slow down global warming; hence, sea levels might rise less than some experts expected, and severe flooding may not happen as regular.

In conclusion, severe flooding is caused by human activities; however, various measures can be taken to tackle the problems.(259 words)
